Job description

Role Overview

This position supports the Cost Controller with everyday purchasing activities and helps keep hotel operations well supplied so each department can function smoothly and efficiently.

Key Duties

  • Assist with the hotel’s day-to-day procurement and purchasing flow under the direction of the Cost Controller.
  • Work from the stores and receiving areas as assigned by the Cost Controller.
  • Handle the safe and accurate collection of purchases and deliveries, including coordination of outside transport and delivery movements.
  • Operate the vehicle when required for cash purchases or for collecting credit deliveries that vendors are unable to deliver directly.
