About the Role

This role involves working as a vital member of the Infosys delivery team, focusing on implementing design concepts, developing robust software programs, and systems that meet client specifications. The consultant will serve as a primary contact for handling production-related issues and must perform technical analyses to identify practical solutions, ensuring high quality project outputs.

You will actively participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives, leveraging insights from various projects to enhance overall project efficiency. This position plays a significant part in guiding clients through their digital transformation journeys with expertise in digital commerce platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

• Implementing and developing solutions using Intershop e-commerce platform technology.
• Responding to and resolving production issues as the first line of support.
• Producing technical documentation and artifacts essential for project delivery.
• Contributing to knowledge management efforts by sharing project learnings and utilizing others' knowledge for efficiency.
• Engaging closely with clients to ensure successful delivery and align technical work to business needs.

Essential Requirements and Skills

• In-depth understanding of Intershop as a digital commerce platform.
• Advanced conceptual grasp of at least one programming language and practical experience working on a project.
• Solid knowledge of at least one database system and one operating system.
• Fundamental grasp of software engineering principles with application in at least one project.
• Ability to handle medium complexity tasks independently in a timely and effective manner.
• Exposure to software design principles and capability to understand and develop design specifications autonomously.
• Experience in creating and executing test cases and scenarios appropriately planned.
• Capability to manage and coordinate production issues promptly while engaging relevant stakeholders.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
• Up-to-date awareness of current technologies and industry trends.
