The role focuses on supporting an international school environment by handling the full employee lifecycle and ensuring HR practices stay aligned with local legal requirements and international school expectations.
Key responsibilities
You will manage core HR operations for school staff, including hiring, onboarding, contract handling, and maintenance of employee records. The position also involves partnering with school leadership on manpower planning, supporting appraisal and review processes, responding to staff questions, maintaining accurate HR systems, and making sure employment practices comply with Ghanaian labor regulations. In addition, you will help organize orientations and training sessions, and work closely with travel and relocation teams to support visas, work permits, and other relocation arrangements for international employees.
Qualifications and experience

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education Management, or a related discipline is expected, and professional HR certification would be an added advantage. Prior experience in the education sector is important, with 3 to 5 years of experience working in the educational industry specifically noted. Exposure to international school HR operations or international staff assignments will be especially valuable.
Skills and working style
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, comfortable managing documents and HR databases, and proficient with office tools such as MS Office or Google Workspace.
