They also provide international ocean and air freight forwarding worldwide.
Job Purpose
The primary role involves coordinating international imports using air, ocean, and rail transportation methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute proactively to company strategic objectives and key results (OKRs) to support organizational success.
- Embody company core values to maintain a respectful, organized, and customer-focused workplace.
- Provide quotations to agents and customers for international air and ocean import shipments.
- Arrange cargo transport from customers to carriers or airlines.
- Prepare and process paperwork for customs clearance with brokers.
- Book shipments for air and ocean freight.
- Compile and prepare documentation related to import shipments.
- Complete shipment files and finalize billing to clients.
- Monitor shipment status until delivery at destination.
- Maintain communication with international agents, commercial accounts, customs brokers, and carriers via phone and email.
- Analyze and calculate shipment revenues and costs.

Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role.
- Possession of Dangerous Goods training is a plus.
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
- Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Basic knowledge of Canadian customs regulations related to import and export procedures.

Work Environment and Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting during scheduled shift hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm, on-site in Barrie, Ontario.

- Competitive salary range from $50,000 to $65,000 annually based on experience.
