Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and goal-oriented International Freight Broker to oversee and expand freight operations worldwide, focusing notably on the US markets. The role involves carrier sourcing, rate negotiation, shipment management, and maintaining excellent client relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee international freight shipments ensuring smooth operations.
• Negotiate with carriers and shippers to secure competitive freight rates enhancing profit margins.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with carriers, clients, and logistics partners.
• Monitor shipments to guarantee timely collection and delivery.
• Manage load bookings, dispatch processes, and necessary shipment documentation.
• Address and resolve shipment-related issues, delays, and customer concerns promptly and efficiently.
• Utilize load boards such as DAT and Truckstop to find and source appropriate carriers.
• Ensure all shipments comply with international shipping laws and required documentation standards.
• Maintain meticulous records of shipment details, freight rates, and customer communications.
• Drive business growth by initiating cold calls and generating leads.
