Role Overview
Your key responsibility will be to develop and organize a supplier portfolio in Italy to enhance competitiveness, profit margins, and the expansion of product ranges on Amazon. Leveraging your fluency in Italian, you will establish strong partnerships with Italian suppliers and identify new product opportunities to expedite Ponera’s growth across Amazon Europe.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and build relationships with new Italian suppliers.
- Conduct strategic commercial negotiations covering pricing, margins, exclusivity, volumes, and logistics terms.
- Improve and renegotiate existing supplier agreements to boost profitability.
- Maintain active market monitoring to spot trends and high-potential Amazon products.
- Develop product lines tailored to e-commerce demands and Amazon standards.
- Build sustainable supplier relationships and oversee partner performance.
- Communicate daily in Italian with suppliers and international partners.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced in procurement and supplier negotiations.
- Skilled in strategic negotiation to secure ambitious commercial terms.
- Proficient in Italian for conducting business with international partners.
- Attuned to performance, margin, and profitability considerations.
- Self-driven, persistent, and structured in approach.
