- Design and maintain optimized dbt models that address performance, scalability, and the specific characteristics of credit-related data.
- Create insightful dashboards that extend beyond basic reporting to tackle critical questions regarding product performance and portfolio management.
- Facilitate experimentation initiatives within the credit portfolio.
- Engage with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize impactful tasks, and ensure analysis aligns with business objectives.
- Proactively identify emerging trends and opportunities that go beyond immediate requests.
- Support and enhance team culture through peer code reviews, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement of shared best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 3 years of experience in data analytics roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and practical experience with dbt, essential to the role.
- Experience with Git workflows, including branching, making clear commits, and conducting constructive pull request reviews.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
- A strong curiosity about the business intelligence behind data and how insights connect to product strategies.
- Regular use of AI tools integrated into daily workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with credit, lending, or consumer finance datasets.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
- Background in fintech or consumer-facing products.
- Certifications in Redshift and dbt.
Compensation
The anticipated salary for this position ranges from 85000 to 130000 CAD annually. KOHO commits to pay transparency, with compensation determined by market data, technical assessments, past work history, and internal equity.
