Company Overview

MartinPatrick 3 is a well-established residential interior design firm located in the North Loop area of Minneapolis, MN. The company is recognized for delivering quality design services and seeks an experienced Interior Designer to join their team.

Position Summary

We are looking for an Interior Designer with 4 to 8 years of experience who will be responsible for supporting all phases of the design process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an excellent sense of design and aesthetics, possess strong organizational skills, and be adept at multitasking and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site measurements and thoroughly document existing conditions.
  • Create floor plans, elevations, and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Develop and enhance 3D models for design presentations and planning.
  • Engage in space planning and efficient utilization of design areas.
  • Manage budgets and adhere to project guidelines effectively.
  • Coordinate and track product procurement with vendors and manufacturers.
  • Oversee deliveries and maintain updated project spreadsheets.
  • Research materials and construction methods to inform design choices.
  • Assist in selecting furniture, finishes, and lighting elements suitable to project needs.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, builders, and subcontractors to ensure project cohesion.
  • Apply strong problem-solving abilities and maintain diligent follow-up on issues.
  • Prioritize tasks expertly to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and client interfacing capability.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Outlook for daily work and communication.
  • Proficient use of AutoCAD is required.
  • Additional experience with Revit, Design Manager, Bluebeam, and Sketchup is advantageous.

Qualifications and Education

Applicants must have completed or be in the process of completing a degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited university.
