Job Overview

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for leading projects from initial client consultation through to completion. This role involves creating innovative design concepts, overseeing timelines, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring all work complies with local renovation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their requirements, budget, and preferences, tailoring interior solutions accordingly.
• Conduct onsite evaluations to measure and analyze space layouts for precise design planning.
• Create design concepts, mood boards, floor plans, and detailed 3D visualizations to present project ideas.
• Develop accurate CAD drawings and comprehensive documentation to facilitate execution.
• Source and coordinate furniture, fixtures, and materials with suppliers, ensuring specifications are met.
• Prepare quotations and invoices transparently communicating project costs.
• Proactively manage project schedules to prevent delays and guarantee smooth renovations.
• Collaborate with contractors and trades to ensure alignment with design plans and quality expectations.
• Organize and submit necessary regulatory paperwork including quotations, permits, invoices, MCST, and HDB documentation to maintain compliance.
• Apply thorough knowledge of Singapore renovation regulations to adhere to legal standards across projects.
• Handle client feedback and resolve complaints professionally to uphold client satisfaction.
• Maintain consistent follow-up and communication with clients until projects are completed.
• Operate effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Maintain honesty and integrity in all documentation, communication, and work procedures.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or comparable design software.
• Well-versed in Singapore’s renovation regulatory framework.
