Job description
Position Overview
This role involves serving as an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist within the Avionics Engineering Department, part of the Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare Battlespace Division under NAVAIRWARCENAC Division. The primary focus is on the innovation, development, and demonstration of cutting-edge airborne ASW system concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and practical demonstration of next-generation Airborne Anti-Submarine Warfare system concepts.
- Organize and manage complex experimental exercises across multiple international locations, showcasing advanced system functionalities and assessing performance in varied oceanic environments.
- Provide authoritative technical leadership and oversight for forefront development programs in the ASW domain.
- Supervise and guide government engineers, contractor teams, and academic experts engaged in the advancement of innovative ASW system technologies.
- Take charge in generating detailed technical contributions and preparing comprehensive proposals to obtain and maintain funding for advanced technology development initiatives.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is from $143,913 to $197,200 per annum.
