We serve dozens of hedge funds internationally, including locations in the US, UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and are funded by top-tier venture capital firms.
Responsibilities
- Lead client acquisition and relationship management within your geographic region, targeting hedge funds, long-only investors, multi-manager teams, and corporate strategists.
- Engage directly with Chief Investment Officers, Portfolio Managers, and sector analysts; convert inbound interest and proactively generate new opportunities through your network.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial discovery to demonstrations, trial phases, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
- Navigate complex procurement and compliance processes, including due diligence questionnaires, MNPI compliance, master service agreements, and order forms.
- Collaborate closely with research and product teams to align client needs with product development and roadmap priorities.
Candidate Profile
- 5 to 10 years of experience selling to US-based buy-side institutions, with consideration for exceptional candidates possessing 3 to 5 years.
- Established relationships with Portfolio Managers and CIOs at multi-manager funds such as Citadel, Millennium, Point72, Schonfeld, ExodusPoint, major long/short funds, or long-only investment firms.
- Prior experience at independent equity research providers, sell-side research, corporate access, expert network firms (e.g., GLG, Tegus, AlphaSights, Third Bridge), alternative data providers, or platforms like Bloomberg, AlphaSense, and FactSet.
- Strong understanding of buy-side compliance protocols, MNPI regulations, and vendor onboarding processes.
- Proficiency in English at native or near-native level.
- Genuine passion and conviction about how AI is transforming professional investment workflows.
Compensation and Benefits
- Opportunity to collaborate directly with top-tier research analysts and AI engineers developing a category-defining product.
- Backed by leading US venture capital firms with industry-leading performance (top three globally in a 60-day Long/Short return among independent research firms).
- Attractive compensation package including a competitive base salary, unlimited commission potential, and early-stage equity participation.
- Join a global, agile team distributed across the US, Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan, offering significant market impact potential.
