Inspector - Telecom & IT

Overview

The Telecom & IT Inspector role focuses on tracking the health and performance of telecommunications and IT systems so communication networks remain dependable and transport operations stay available.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of telecom assets such as fiber networks, switches, routers, servers, and other communication equipment.
• Keep an eye on contractor delivery to make sure network uptime, connectivity, and system reliability are maintained.
• Check that technical requirements, cybersecurity expectations, and operational standards are being followed.
• Detect faults, signs of network decline, and system-related problems, then ensure the needed corrective work is completed.
• Work alongside NOC, data center, and ITS teams to close out urgent communication and system incidents.

Candidate Profile

• At least 5 years of experience working in telecom, IT infrastructure, or ITS systems on transport or major infrastructure projects.
• Solid understanding of network architecture, communication protocols, and IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on background in inspections, troubleshooting, and performance tracking of systems.
• Exposure to data centers, cybersecurity practices, and enterprise IT environments.
