Role overview

This role is for an Inside Sales Specialist working with a partner organization in Ireland. The opportunity is centered on a high-growth precision biology and life sciences business that supports protein biomarker discovery and clinical research. The main focus is to create fresh business opportunities across the EMEA region through proactive outreach, scientific discussions, and consultative selling. You will help broaden the reach of advanced proteomics solutions used in early disease detection and translational research, while partnering closely with field sales and technical colleagues to move qualified prospects into active pipeline opportunities.

This is a remote-friendly role with international exposure and the chance to contribute to biotechnology innovation at the intersection of science and commercial growth.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business by researching target accounts and reaching out to prospects across EMEA through calls, email campaigns, digital outreach, and other outbound channels.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads and keep CRM records up to date using tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Run discovery conversations to uncover customer research goals, application needs, and buying motivations in proteomics and biomarker-related studies.
  • Work alongside technical account managers and sales teams to shape focused prospecting plans and turn interested leads into opportunities.
  • Identify key scientific influencers, decision-makers, and relevant networks to uncover commercial opportunities and grow market presence.
  • Manage both inbound and outbound follow-ups, qualify prospects promptly, and ensure a smooth transition to the next sales stage.
  • Monitor market movements and competitor activity in the proteomics and biotechnology landscape to refine outreach strategy and market positioning.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or another related scientific discipline is preferred.
  • Prior experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation, ideally in biotechnology, diagnostics, or life sciences, is expected.
  • Solid knowledge of proteomics, biomarker research, or similar scientific areas is highly advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to build trust and rapport in both scientific and commercial discussions.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce and/or HubSpot.
  • A track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets or quotas in a performance-oriented setting.
  • Good time management and organizational ability to juggle multiple prospects and priorities at once.

Perks and benefits

  • A compensation package that is competitive and aligned with experience and market standards.
  • Incentives tied to sales performance and pipeline results.
  • A remote-friendly working setup within the EMEA region.
  • The chance to work where scientific innovation and commercial strategy meet.
  • Exposure to advanced proteomics platforms, including ARGO™ HT System and NULISA™ technology.
  • A collaborative international workplace with strong cross-functional cooperation.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within a fast-scaling biotech business.
