Role overview

News Corp Australia’s Adelaide Print Centre is looking for a casual team member to support machinery operations and manual production tasks. The position involves working in a fast-paced print environment where accuracy, safety and timely output are important.

Key duties

  • Run and monitor machinery as part of the print process.
  • Insert magazines into newspapers and package finished papers within required deadlines.
  • Maintain safe practices while operating equipment at all times.
  • Work overnight shifts as required.
  • Be available for shifts ranging from 3 to 7 hours, with most shifts typically lasting 3 to 4 hours.

  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • A cooperative, team-oriented approach.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety rules and procedures.
  • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
  • Comfort working under time pressure.
  • Flexibility to move between different tasks in a rotation-based setup.
  • Willingness to work night shifts across a 7-day roster.
  • Readiness to take on extra shifts on short notice.
  • Experience in a factory, manufacturing, process work, or pick-and-pack setting is an advantage.
  • An LF forklift licence is also considered beneficial.
