Innovation Management Officer

About the Role

The Innovation Management Officer will support the Innovation Team in driving bank-wide innovation efforts. This position helps coordinate activities, brings different departments together, and supports the rollout of innovation programs.

The role is focused on strengthening a mindset of continuous improvement and testing new ideas. It includes organizing innovation-related initiatives, using Design Thinking methods, and helping move concepts from the idea stage into practical implementation. The officer also connects internal teams with the wider external innovation network to help deliver the bank’s innovation priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Help build and nurture an active innovation community within the bank.
• Assist with the internal communication strategy and prepare written content and visual materials for the innovation team’s communication channels.
• Encourage creativity, experimentation, and ongoing improvement while working with different stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate, support, and, when needed, guide innovation activities so they run smoothly.
• Work with the team to coordinate and track the progress of ideas developed through bootcamps and hackathons.
• Support the team lead in communicating and coordinating with fintech companies and startups.
• Take part in ecosystem events and develop a strong professional network.
• Maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to help identify scouting and collaboration opportunities.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or another relevant area connected to innovation.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a complex business setting, preferably with exposure to both corporate and startup environments.
• A creative, innovation-oriented mindset.
• Strong ability to coordinate events and projects, with a structured approach and close attention to detail.
• Experience using content creation and visual communication tools such as Canva.
• Ability to collaborate well in a team and adapt easily to changing needs.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to present ideas effectively.
• Advanced command of Microsoft Office 365.
• Fluency in English.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Tirana, Albania.

The position is intended to support innovation delivery across the organization by combining coordination, communication, ecosystem engagement, and program support.
