Role overview
Monee is hiring a graduate-level Information Security professional to support cybersecurity governance and operational security work within a banking environment in Singapore.
What you will do
- Help put cybersecurity policies, control frameworks, and compliance requirements into practice.
- Track security incidents, investigate their impact, and support response efforts across banking platforms.
- Contribute to technology and cyber risk assessments, risk handling activities, and security audit preparation.
- Work with IT, product, and operations teams to make sure systems and applications are deployed securely.
- Monitor new threat trends and help drive awareness campaigns and improvement initiatives.
- Assist with data governance tasks such as classifying data, managing access, defining data-handling rules, and monitoring data quality.
What we are looking for
- A candidate currently studying for, or already holding, a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar technology discipline.
- Expected graduation by July 2026, with the ability to join by August 2026.
- A genuine interest in cybersecurity, security governance, risk management, and security operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, including the skill to evaluate security risks and turn conclusions into clear, practical reports.
- Careful, well-organised, and able to handle urgent security tasks accurately and consistently.
- Comfort using security or IT tools, and willingness to pick up new technologies and security platforms quickly.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with IT, risk, audit, and engineering stakeholders.
- Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment where threats keep changing.
