Industrial Electrical Tradesperson - NZAS

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Tradesperson to join our team at NZAS, Tiwai Point in Invercargill. This permanent, full-time position involves supporting the maintenance and repair of critical equipment at our site. You will report directly to the Superintendent or Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute planned, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on plant and workshop machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems related to cranes, machinery, and industrial processes.
• Mentor apprentices and aid in building team capability.
• Ensure repairs are delivered reliably and meet production timelines.
• Promote and uphold a safety-first, collaborative team culture.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to personal and team safety.
• Registered Electrician holding a current practicing license or equivalent Australian qualification.
• Experience in industrial, mining, or heavy processing environments.
• Proficient in advanced fault-finding and diagnostic techniques.
• Familiarity with servicing large-scale plant and production equipment.
• Capability to mentor colleagues and contribute positively to team performance.
