Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Designer who excels in an interactive, hands-on setting to join our design team. You will engage in projects ranging from conceptualization to production, creating smart and manufacturable product designs. Your contributions will encompass collaboration with clients and suppliers, conceptualizing product architectures, detailed designing of parts, prototype assembly and testing, cost and schedule assistance, and upholding company standards for quality, engineering, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and suppliers to define and clarify design expectations
• Develop product frameworks and conceptual design ideas
• Create detailed design documentation including part geometry and specifications
• Construct and evaluate prototypes, investigating and resolving issues
• Support cost estimation, project timelines, and coordination activities
• Maintain company-wide quality, engineering, and compliance standards throughout projects

Candidate Profile

You should be a seasoned Industrial Designer capable of forming effective interpersonal relationships and delivering compelling, well-crafted design solutions. Strong communication skills—through sketches, imagery, and models—are essential for conveying and advocating your ideas to both colleagues and clients. Your keen attention to detail and solid technical understanding will enable seamless integration of parts into market-ready products. Problem identification and practical solution development are integral to your approach.

Key Qualifications and Characteristics

• Degree in Industrial Design or Product Design Engineering
• Minimum five years of product development experience supported by a robust portfolio
• Proven ability to design aesthetically pleasing, manufacturable products
• Deep understanding of product functionality and manufacturing processes
• Strong problem-solving aptitude coupled with willingness for hands-on engagement
• Capability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with broader teams
• Excellent interpersonal, visual, and written communication skills
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Adobe or equivalent graphics software
• Experience working within quality systems and handling technical documentation
