Industrial Custodian

Position Overview

We seek a skilled Industrial Custodian committed to maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe facility. The role involves preserving the overall condition of the building and equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Success in this position requires proven expertise in routine maintenance and inspections aimed at optimal facility operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on major building systems and equipment.
• Schedule and conduct inspections for critical systems such as HVAC and fire extinguishers.
• Clean and sanitize office spaces and restrooms thoroughly.
• Mop, vacuum, and clean flooring surfaces consistently.
• Manage disposal of trash and recycling materials responsibly.
• Maintain exterior walkways by removing debris and sweeping.
• Dust and clean furniture effectively.
• Relocate cabinets, boxes, and equipment to facilitate cleaning activities.
• Use ladders when necessary to dust and wash walls, ceilings, and fixtures.
• Keep an inventory of all cleaning supplies within the facility.
• Provide support services to various departments as needed.
• Evaluate and suggest maintenance improvements in line with business growth.

Working Conditions

• Daily exposure to allergens including cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil is expected.

• Attentive to detail with excellent time management and accuracy.
• Prior cannabis industry experience is not required.

Additional Requirements

• Successful completion of all required background checks.
• Compliance with all applicable legal and company guidelines related to the industry.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Approval from the Department of Health to obtain an Agent badge is required.
• Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, and balancing up to 40 pounds individually, and up to 80 pounds with assistance.

Compensation

The compensation for this position is competitive and reflects experience, qualifications, and location. This role may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on organizational and individual performance metrics. The pay range is $18 per hour.
