About the Role
Pinnacle Group is seeking a seasoned Industrial Cleaning Operative to join the Workplace cleaning team located at a client site in Rocester, ST14 area. Pinnacle Workplace specializes in customized facilities management services including cleaning, security, catering, and specialized industrial solutions. With nearly 600 team members nationwide, we support diverse sectors such as manufacturing, retail, education, and office environments.
The position involves cleaning factory floors, workspaces, and machinery, requiring attention to detail, physical stamina, and proficiency with cleaning tools, chemicals, and maintaining cleanliness in sensitive environments.
This is a full-time permanent role, offering a 37.5-hour workweek, Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4PM.
Responsibilities
- Perform damp mopping, surface washing, sweeping, vacuuming, and cleaning of touchpoints.
- Clean offices, meeting rooms, production areas, and dining facilities.
- Maintain toilet areas including cleaning fixtures and replenishing consumables like toilet paper, hand soap, and towels.
- Manage waste collection, transportation, and storage inside and outside the facility.
- Collaborate effectively within the team while also demonstrating initiative.
Key Requirements
- Must have access to a personal vehicle due to the shift scheduling.
- Strong knowledge and experience with cleaning services and equipment, along with keen attention to detail.
- Preferred familiarity with COSHH regulations, chemical handling, and risk assessments.
- Experience operating buffer machines or scrubber dryers is advantageous.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules.
- Show enthusiasm and dedication to the role.
