Role overview
This position is for an Industrial Cleaning Operative working overnight within the Industrial Division. The role involves supporting cleaning operations at client locations across the country, with travel to allocated sites required. It is a night-based job that calls for reliability, adaptability, and a strong focus on cleanliness, safety, and professional conduct.
Working hours and pay
The shift runs from 7:30 pm to 6:00 am, Monday to Thursday, on a 4 x 10-hour schedule, totalling 40 hours each week. Flexibility may occasionally be needed. Pay starts at €16.93 per hour, plus a 15% night premium of €2.36 per hour, bringing the total to €19.29 per hour. The role is paid at a flat rate for up to 46 hours; any hours beyond 46 are paid at 1.25 times the standard rate.
Key duties
- Complete industrial cleaning work as instructed by the Industrial Supervisors.
- Work with team members to finish tasks safely and efficiently.
- Keep client sites clean and hygienic to a high standard.
- Use PPE correctly and follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Handle industrial cleaning machinery and equipment safely and properly.
- Observe each customer site’s rules, procedures, and site-specific expectations.
- Travel to different client locations nationwide as assigned.
- Take part in training supplied by the company for industrial cleaning work.
