About The Role

Located in Henderson, Western Australia, the Industrial Cleaner will play a key role in upholding housekeeping excellence across the shipyard work zones and pedestrian pathways. The position is vital for ensuring safe transport routes by keeping stairways, walkways, and busy production sectors tidy and hazard-free. A major part of the job calls for the regular operation of push sweepers and brooms to effectively maintain expansive industrial flooring and exterior shipyard areas.

Key Duties

• Regularly sweep walkways, stairwells, hardstand zones, and access paths throughout the shipyard.
• Operate and service industrial push sweepers and hand brooms to clear debris from operational sections.
• Keep all pedestrian routes free from trip hazards, dust, and loose materials.
• Perform cleaning inspections in line with site housekeeping standards.
• Maintain the functionality of cleaning equipment and promptly notify supervisors about any issues.
• Assist with additional housekeeping responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Construction Industry White Card.
• Eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
