Company Overview
Century Marina Hotel is a premium five-star property in Lusail City, Qatar, positioned within a lively mixed-use destination. The hotel features 184 well-appointed rooms, including Executive and Presidential Suites, plus a rooftop pool, a modern fitness center, a luxury spa, and a ballroom for up to 250 seated guests. Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site finance role based in Doha, Qatar, responsible for both income auditing and accounts receivable operations. The position focuses on ensuring that all revenue is posted accurately, cash and card receipts are properly reconciled, and income records comply with hotel procedures and financial controls. It also covers invoicing, payment tracking, customer account maintenance, and support for reporting and close processes.
Key Duties
- Review daily income activity and confirm that revenue postings are complete and correct.
- Match and reconcile cash and credit card transactions against recorded income.
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and keep customer balances updated.
- Issue invoices, monitor incoming payments, and follow up on overdue amounts.
- Prepare reports related to income, receivables, and financial performance.
- Support month-end closing tasks and related finance workflows.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests and documentation.
- Work closely with front office, reservations, and finance teams to investigate variances and strengthen controls.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should bring strong analytical ability, sound finance knowledge, and practical exposure to auditing and reconciliation processes. Experience in hotel income audit and accounts receivable is preferred, especially within a 4-star or 5-star hospitality environment. Familiarity with hotel PMS and accounting software, along with strong MS Excel skills, is important. The role also requires accuracy, integrity, good communication, and the ability to manage priorities in a busy environment.
Education
A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred. Professional certifications in finance or auditing are considered an added advantage.

This role requires close coordination with operational departments and may involve handling time-sensitive financial tasks in a fast-paced hotel setting. The position is based onsite at the property in Doha.
