Role Summary

As an Implementation Success Manager within the Go To Market team, you will be accountable for the entire implementation process—from initial customer scoping to partner-driven delivery and value achievement. You serve as the core point in the customer journey, transforming business needs into clear Statements of Work, ensuring the correct partners are engaged, and owning accountability throughout. This role requires commercial acumen, excellent relationship skills, and the ability to coordinate complex engagements to accelerate customer value.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and scoping conversations to understand customer business goals, technical needs, and success criteria.
• Convert intricate requirements into well-structured Statements of Work that set expectations and protect both parties.
• Define engagement scope, timelines, resource allocation, and commercial conditions jointly with Sales and Customer Success.
• Ensure readiness for every engagement prior to development commencement.
• Manage ongoing relationships with implementation and agency partners through the delivery lifecycle.
• Support partners with context, resources, and guidance to meet agreed scope and standards.
• Act as escalation point for delivery challenges, handling risks and obstacles to maintain progress.
• Hold partners accountable for quality, timelines, and customer results without micro-managing.
• Build trusted relationships and communicate effectively with senior client stakeholders including C-suite executives.
• Serve as the main Professional Services contact for clients during the implementation phase.
• Translate technical complexity into clear communication tailored to varied audiences.
• Represent Storyblok as a trusted advisor to both clients and partners.
• Collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success to identify growth opportunities emerging from active engagements.
• Assist in pre-sales activities such as scoping workshops, proposals, and presentations.
• Contribute to refining Storyblok’s professional services methodology, SOW templates, and partner collaboration frameworks.
• Work closely with Product and Solutions teams to provide implementation insights influencing platform enhancements.
• Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless transition from implementation to adoption and account health.
• Incorporate partner and customer feedback into go-to-market and product strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in Professional Services, Solutions, or Implementation roles in SaaS or CMS sectors.
• Expertise in scoping complex technical projects and development or management of Statements of Work.
• Experienced in managing third-party implementation partners, agencies, or systems integrators to maximize outcomes.
• Strong commercial awareness balancing customer satisfaction and business priorities.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging confidently and credibly at senior leadership levels.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations without detailed playbooks, able to impose structure effectively.
• Knowledge of headless CMS, composable architectures, or digital experience platforms is advantageous.
• Fluent English communication skills — written and verbal.

Compensation and Terms

The US base salary range for this position is $98,100 to $142,000 annually. Compensation is equitable and based on job scope, skills, experience, and education, benchmarked against market and industry data. Some roles also include competitive commission opportunities.
