Job description

About the role

SkyCity Entertainment Group is seeking an accomplished ICT Project Manager to join its Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role focuses on delivering complex technology initiatives that support innovation, stronger security, and better operational performance across the organisation.

Reporting to the GM EPMO, you will oversee ICT projects and related technology workstreams across a varied portfolio. The work may include system rollouts, digital transformation efforts, infrastructure initiatives, cloud programmes, and enterprise platform projects. You will manage delivery from start to finish, keeping work aligned to scope, budget, and business goals.

You will collaborate with ICT specialists, business teams, vendors, and external service providers to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and delivered to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle delivery of ICT projects, from initiation through deployment and handover into operations.
  • Build and maintain project plans, while tracking technical milestones, dependencies, risks, and release timing.
  • Coordinate activities across requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and stakeholder communication.
  • Partner with architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, and data teams to drive successful outcomes.
  • Manage third-party vendors and delivery partners to meet agreed service levels and project expectations.
  • Support governance processes such as architecture review sessions, release planning, and change advisory meetings.
  • Prepare clear status updates covering progress, risks, issues, and delivery results.

What you will bring

  • At least 8 years of experience delivering ICT or technology-enabled projects in large, complex organisations.
  • Demonstrated success managing end-to-end delivery for implementations, integrations, upgrades, cloud initiatives, or digital transformation programmes.
  • Solid working knowledge of project governance, risk control, cybersecurity, and data privacy considerations.
  • Experience operating in Agile, Waterfall, or blended delivery environments.
  • Confidence using tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar project management platforms.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to connect technical and business teams.
  • Capability in vendor management and building productive working relationships.

Benefits

  • Supportive and diverse workplace culture.
  • Opportunity to work with energetic, committed people who value teamwork.
  • Staff cafeteria meals available for $2.50, including healthy salad options.
  • Access to a staff convenience store with heavily discounted essentials such as eggs, bread, butter, and milk.
  • Discounted staff car parking and dry cleaning.
  • Subsidised medical insurance.
  • Career growth and progression opportunities.
  • Discounts across SkyCity outlets.

Equal opportunity statement

SkyCity states that it values diversity and inclusion, and its hiring decisions are based on capability and performance rather than gender, gender identity, race, origin, age, educational background, disability, or religious beliefs. The organisation also emphasises flexibility and support so people can build their own path and succeed as themselves.
