Role Overview

The organization is seeking a Hygiene & Sanitation Executive to help maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety across the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are consistently upheld across the property so guests and staff remain in a safe environment.
  • Check that food being served is protected from microbiological, chemical, and physical contamination.
  • Carry out routine inspections to confirm that all work areas comply with internal hygiene standards and local health authority rules.
  • Perform audit reviews and implement corrective actions to strengthen sanitation practices and food safety controls.
  • Work with teams across the hotel to introduce better practices and support improvements in food safety and cleanliness.
  • Keep up with new food safety developments and reflect relevant changes in training and day-to-day operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Possession of a relevant certification in hygiene, food safety controls, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience managing food safety and hygiene standards in a restaurant or hotel setting.
  • Ability to conduct training and audit checks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for working with diverse teams.
  • Creative and proactive approach to leading change and improving processes.
  • Interest in learning new food safety trends and applying updated practices.
  • Willingness to work shifts and on weekends.
