Hygiene Production Operative

Position Overview

We are seeking Hygiene Production Operatives to work night shifts at Pilgrim's Pride in Corsham. The role involves ensuring the cleaning of production areas and equipment to meet strict hygiene and food safety standards. This is a full-time position with a working schedule from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday or any 5 days out of 7 including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitizing production zones and machinery using on-site washdown systems.
• Preparing equipment for the next day’s production activities.
• Performing duties that maintain food safety compliance throughout the site.
• Handling cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Prior experience in a hygiene-related role is advantageous but not required as full training is provided.
• Competence in manual handling.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills suitable for the position.
