Hygiene Operative

Role overview

Dunbia Group is inviting applicants to join its established hygiene team at its Cross Hands, Wales site. This role sits within a major European food processing business focused on producing food naturally and maintaining strong cleanliness standards across the operation.

Key duties

• Complete the hygiene rota tasks allocated to your designated area.
• Set up, look after, and take responsibility for the cleaning tools and equipment used in the role.
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and ensure materials are replenished when needed.
• Operate mechanical cleaning equipment safely and confidently as part of hygiene activities.
• Handle, prepare, and dispose of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants in a safe and correct manner.
• Work in line with Good Manufacturing Practice and the site’s hygiene standards.
• Follow approved written procedures for all hygiene tasks and complete logbook records to the required company standard whenever needed.

Working pattern

The role is based on rotating shifts. The schedule listed includes two shift patterns, with the following timings:

• Sunday: Shift A 6:00am–6:00pm; Shift B off
• Monday: Shift A 6:00am–6:30pm; Shift B off
• Tuesday: Shift A 3:00pm–11:00pm; Shift B 6:00am–2:00pm
• Wednesday: Shift A 3:00pm–11:00pm; Shift B 6:00am–2:00pm
• Thursday: Shift A 3:00pm–11:00pm; Shift B 6:00am–2:00pm
• Friday: Shift A off; Shift B 6:00am–6:30pm
• Saturday: Shift A off; Shift B 6:00am–6:00pm

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is £12.71 per hour.
