Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Fitter / Plant Mechanic to join our production department and contribute to assembling sophisticated heavy machinery. This position involves hands-on work with hydraulic and electrical systems in a modern manufacturing setup.

Responsibilities

• Fit and install hydraulic systems on heavy machinery produced in-house
• Interpret and work from hydraulic and electrical diagrams
• Undertake hydraulic plumbing and wiring tasks
• Detect and resolve faults in hydraulic and electrical systems
• Adhere strictly to health and safety and company procedures
• Operate machinery including overhead cranes and forklifts, alongside various hand tools
• Maintain responsibility for tools, equipment, and cleanliness of the working environment
• Function autonomously and collaborate within a production team

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a Hydraulic Fitter, Plant Mechanic, Agricultural Mechanic or an equivalent role
• Demonstrable expertise in hydraulics with practical experience
• Familiarity with agricultural or plant machinery is an advantage
• Competence in reading hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Effective communicator with a cooperative mindset

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary at €18 per hour or above, commensurate with experience
