Role overview
The position supports the Senior HR Supervisor in managing employee relations, administrative tasks, and operational HR work while ensuring adherence to company policies, labor regulations, and legal requirements. The role also demands strict confidentiality, a strong service mindset, and the ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Key responsibilities
- Handle employee relations matters and disciplinary actions, including investigations, in line with established personnel policies and procedures.
- Support management through advice, clear communication, maintenance of employee records, exit processing, and resolution of workplace disputes.
- Take part in or lead employee relations investigations and help individuals and teams address interpersonal conflicts.
- Make sure all HR actions and workflows comply with Qatar labour law and internal rules, working closely with the Legal department where needed.
- Update and maintain employee records stored in physical personnel files and/or HR information systems so they remain accurate and current.
- Safeguard confidential employee information in HR systems, including probation details, residency information for employees and their families, and employee e-files.
- Compile and issue periodic and ad-hoc HR reports and statistics, such as sick leave and grievance case data.
- Draft and provide letters, certificates, and other correspondence for external entities such as government authorities, ministries, and the pension authority.
Candidate profile
The employer is seeking a professional with a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, law, or a related field, along with at least 8 years of directly relevant experience. Experience in oil & gas, petrochemicals, or large manufacturing environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of Qatari labour law is important, and the role calls for excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and presentation abilities. Arabic language skills are preferred.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Mesaieed, Al Wakrah, Qatar. Confidentiality is critical in this role, and the incumbent is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism while delivering strong customer satisfaction and handling work under pressure.
Eligibility
Candidates with the required degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, and knowledge of Qatari labour law are suitable to apply. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or large manufacturing settings and who can communicate in Arabic.
