Role overview
This contract-based, part-time remote role is for an HR specialist supporting a client’s work on next-generation AI systems. The position focuses on bringing practical human resources expertise into the training and refinement of AI tools, helping improve how these models understand and support HR-related work.
What you will work on
- Update, refine, and create HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard templates in line with current best practices and legal requirements.
- Map, improve, and streamline onboarding steps and employee lifecycle processes to make HR operations more efficient.
- Provide guidance on compliance and employee relations situations, and prepare reference materials and training support documents.
- Develop and assess employee-facing communications as well as change management messaging to support clear organizational communication.
- Use your real-world HR knowledge to help evaluate and improve AI-based HR tools and resources.
What the client is looking for
- Hands-on background in HR policy creation, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations, with solid knowledge of regulatory standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to shape effective employee communication materials.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, especially for reviewing and improving HR workflows.
- Comfort working independently while also collaborating with a distributed remote team.
- Interest in AI and how it can be applied in HR, along with a willingness to learn and contribute to AI-driven products.
Compensation and opportunity
The pay range for this opportunity is $10 to $36 per hour. It is a part-time contract engagement and can be performed remotely from anywhere. This role also offers the chance to contribute to the advancement of AI systems while influencing the future of HR operations.
