About the Role
Our client, a prominent Irish company recognized for its influence in the agribusiness, retail, and food industries, is expanding their Human Resources team. They seek a skilled HR Specialist to provide comprehensive support and strategic input as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with management to deliver HR guidance throughout all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Oversee the recruitment process from candidate attraction to onboarding completion.
- Handle employee relations issues including disciplinary measures, grievances, and performance management.
- Maintain compliance of HR policies and procedures in adherence to Irish employment laws and standards.
- Promote employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives along with internal communications.
- Manage onboarding programs, induction, and employee professional development schemes.
- Support talent management strategies and succession planning efforts.
- Assist with HR information systems, data reporting, performance assessments, and attendance monitoring.
- Participate in broader HR projects and continuous improvement activities.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Has at least two years’ experience in a generalist HR capacity.
- Possesses solid knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
- Experienced in managing employee relations and performance processes.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with HR systems is a plus.
Additional Information
This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary between €45,000 and €50,000 annually. The position is based at Finisklin Business Park in Sligo and includes a hybrid working arrangement.
