Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position based in Richmond, TX is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. The role encompasses maintaining employee records, verifying compliance with labor laws and company policies, and managing daily payroll activities such as handling timekeeping data and payroll adjustments. The specialist will also respond to employee inquiries concerning compensation, deductions, and benefits. Supporting broader HR functions including onboarding, personnel file administration, and employee benefits management is expected. Collaboration with management and finance teams is necessary to enhance payroll processes, facilitate audits, and protect sensitive HR data.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of Human Resources principles including HR policies and employee benefits administration.
  • Experience in HR management and personnel oversight to support routine HR operations effectively.
  • Background in payroll processing, timekeeping systems, and familiarity with basic accounting or financial concepts.
  • Proficiency using HRIS or payroll software along with strong skills in Excel or comparable data management applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to maintain confidentiality, and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to interact professionally with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness and capability to work on-site in Richmond, TX while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline preferred; substantial relevant work experience may be accepted as a substitute for formal education.
