About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations remotely from Germany. This role involves managing comprehensive HR processes, fostering employee growth, and cultivating a positive and high-performance culture within a fully remote work environment at the mid-level managerial tier.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day HR activities and oversee the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Design and enforce HR policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Manage recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, and offboarding procedures.
  • Collaborate with leadership and managers on employee relations and HR concerns.
  • Drive initiatives for performance evaluation, employee development, and career progression.
  • Implement programs aimed at employee engagement and retention.
  • Keep accurate and confidential employee records ensuring data integrity.
  • Track HR metrics and generate reports to inform workforce strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to German employment laws and internal policies.
  • Organize employee training, professional development, and learning activities.
  • Assist with compensation, benefits administration, and workforce planning efforts.
  • Continuously identify improvements for HR workflows and employee experience.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative remote work culture.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience in HR, talent management, or related fields.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles and employee lifecycle management.
  • Proven record in handling recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Strong grasp of German employment legislation and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and stakeholder management.
  • Highly organized, with keen problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Trusted with sensitive and confidential employee information.
  • Experience using HRIS, applicant tracking systems, or similar platforms.
  • Analytical mindset capable of leveraging HR data for business insights.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a distributed, remote team setting.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Must be located in Germany and legally authorized for full-time employment.
  • Fully capable of thriving in a remote work environment.
