The environment is fast-moving and people-centred, with a strong emphasis on culture, teamwork, and practical support.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of HR and working alongside the HR Director, you will act as a dependable partner to managers across the organisation. The role combines day-to-day HR delivery with the ownership of broader people initiatives, so you will need to balance operational work with strategic input.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for your allocated area, offering commercially minded and strategic guidance.
- Handle complex employee relations matters and support managers through casework and coaching.
- Lead organisational change activity, including restructures and redundancy-related projects.
- Support recruitment and resourcing through workforce planning, role scoping, and selection processes.
- Contribute to learning and development, talent planning, succession work, and management development.
- Plan and deliver employee engagement activity, including the staff survey and follow-up initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in HR business partnering and be confident advising and coaching line managers. You should be comfortable managing high-level employee relations matters, driving change programmes, and using people data to shape decisions. A degree is required, while CIPD qualification would be an advantage.
Personal Attributes
We are seeking someone who is approachable, empathetic, resilient, and able to build strong working relationships quickly. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work in a busy, evolving environment are essential.
Package and Benefits
- Salary of £50,000 to £55,000 per year
- 35 days of holiday plus bank holidays
- Hybrid working, with three days per week in the central London office and slightly more time onsite at the beginning
- A supportive, collaborative team culture with a strong sense of shared purpose
- A generous overall benefits package
