About Malteurop
Malteurop is a leading malt producer, manufacturing 2.3 million tons of malt annually across 23 facilities worldwide including Europe, North America, Mexico, Oceania, and Asia. Our malt is used in one out of every ten beers consumed globally. We partner with major brewing companies, supporting their growth on the international stage.
Key Responsibilities
As an HR Business Partner in our German organization reporting to the HR Director, you will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, training, payroll, HR administration, employee relations, and HR development initiatives across German locations.
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle: creating job advertisements, sourcing candidates, facilitating interviews, drafting employment contracts, and overseeing onboarding to foster skill development.
- Implement and coordinate training plans by identifying needs, prioritizing access, securing funding, advising employees and managers, and liaising with training providers.
- Handle all payroll activities for German sites, ensuring accuracy of payroll data, managing travel expenses, and acting as the liaison for time management software.
- Maintain HR administrative processes including contracts and agreements, updating HR dashboards and maintaining personnel data and analytics.
- Advise and support management on HR policy application and general HR matters, including disciplinary actions and legal disputes.
- Participate in performance management cycles such as People Review and development planning, while continuously improving onboarding and HR processes.
- Lead and monitor HR projects aligned with company strategy.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the Agrifood sector or manufacturing industry.
- Fluent in both English and German languages.
- Key qualities including discretion, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- A genuine interest in the business with a proactive approach to supporting teams.
