Job description

Role Overview

As an HR Business Partner, you will help connect workforce needs with business priorities across assigned units. In this position, you will advise managers on people-related matters, support organizational change, and help strengthen HR practices and workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with senior leaders to shape HR plans that advance business objectives and improve overall organizational performance.
  • Serve as a dependable point of contact for employees and management on workplace concerns, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with business leaders on staffing needs, hiring plans, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Assess learning needs and coordinate training initiatives that build employee capability and support development.
  • Assist with change efforts by communicating clearly and guiding employees through transitions.
  • Support the implementation and interpretation of HR policies while ensuring compliance with labor requirements and internal standards.
  • Review HR data and metrics to spot patterns, support informed decisions, and suggest improvements to HR processes.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required; a master’s degree or HR certification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years in an HR business partner or comparable role.
  • Sound understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and lead change.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a data-informed approach.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Good project management capability will be beneficial.

Additional Information

This role is based in Singapore and is a full-time, on-site position.
