About The Role

Goldman Sachs is seeking candidates for the position of Human Capital Management – Software Engineer – Associate based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The role focuses on contributing within the Human Capital Management division by building and supporting enterprise software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop user-friendly web-based applications to enhance user interactions
• Engage in analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications and batch processing software
• Collaborate to understand business requirements, assisting in workflow design, data specification, and implementation planning
• Participate in the creation of technical specifications and comprehensive design and testing strategies
• Provide user support through troubleshooting, workarounds, or escalation to IT management when necessary

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in Java and other object-oriented programming languages
• Basic understanding of web services and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle and Sybase
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS)
