HUB Digital Quality Specialist

Role overview

This position is focused on shaping and steering digitized quality processes for the PGHV HUB MEA in alignment with the broader business strategy. The role acts as the process owner for the hub’s main digital quality platforms: SAP-QM and DPS.

The position reports directly to the HUB Quality Manager Hub MEA and also has dotted-line reporting to both the BU Digital Quality Manager and the BU SAP-QM Implementation Manager.

Key impact areas

• Lead the end-to-end rollout of the Digital Passport System (DPS) to capture and review critical-to-quality attributes across all factories in the hub.
• Oversee the full deployment of the SAP Quality Module to track and assess failures across hub factories.
• Serve as the business process owner and primary contact for SAP Q Module within the hub, including guiding local teams on usage in line with BU standards.
• Support the creation of the global BU SAP Quality Module guideline strategy.
• Make sure traceability needs and customer quality reporting are met through DPS.
• Take part in building and rolling out the Digital Factory from the end-user perspective.
• Set up a key-user network across all units in the hub.
• Create and monitor KPIs that measure how fully DPS and Digital Factory have been implemented.
• Introduce and manage a process to verify the quality and completeness of captured data throughout the value chain in each unit.
• Enable Digital Factory/DPS capabilities to validate end-of-line product quality.
• Review data from SAP Quality Notifications and Digital Factory/DPS to launch quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable external regulations, internal procedures, and company guidelines.
• Act in line with the organization’s core values of safety and integrity by taking accountability for actions and supporting colleagues and the business.

Background and requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification is needed.
• Hands-on experience with rolling out digital tools is required.
• Strong understanding of quality processes and the concepts used in the SAP Quality Module.
• At least 5 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Relevant industry experience with knowledge of quality management principles and practices.
• Exposure to production and/or project business is preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certification is an advantage.
• Ability to build a wide internal network and explain complex workflows and processes in a simple, practical way.
• A self-motivated, driving, and inspiring personality.
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and facilitation skills.
• Capability to coach and train teams across global locations.
• Experience working through indirect leadership and cross-functional collaboration in a global organization.
• Strong spoken and written English and Arabic communication skills are mandatory.

Additional information

This role is based in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia and is a full-time onsite position.
