Job description
Job purpose
This entry-level position is meant to build capability among UAE Nationals by giving hands-on exposure to key Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices. The role contributes to policy implementation, compliance checks, and routine safety support across office and site settings.
The position is centered on developing practical understanding of workplace safety, risk control, and regulatory adherence while helping maintain a safe and compliant environment.
Key responsibilities
- Help roll out HSE policies, procedures, and safety requirements across departments and project locations.
- Support walkthroughs, site checks, and identification of hazards and unsafe conditions.
- Assist with incident logs, supporting documentation, and initial investigations under guidance.
- Keep safety inspection files, training records, permit files, and compliance documents current and organized.
- Help coordinate HSE trainings, toolbox discussions, and awareness drives.
- Track adherence to PPE usage and safe operating practices.
- Assist with risk assessments and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Work with site personnel to ensure alignment with local regulatory and authority requirements.
- Support the preparation of basic HSE reports, summaries, and dashboard updates.
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HSE team as directed by the manager.
Qualifications and experience
- A High School Diploma is required; a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Between 0 and 2 years of experience in HSE, safety, site coordination, or compliance work is acceptable; recent graduates may also apply.
- Basic HSE training such as IOSH or NEBOSH is preferred, though it is not compulsory.
- This opportunity is open only to UAE Nationals.
- Working schedule: 4 days per week, 5 hours per day.

- Understanding of hazard spotting and risk assessment basics.
- Strong skills in observing, documenting, and reporting.
- Careful attention to detail and record accuracy.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
