Role Purpose
The HSE Officer will work within the HSE team on the Marjan Project. The role is focused on helping implement safety procedures and environmental requirements so that all site operations follow project expectations, company policies, and client safety standards.
Key Contributions
- Work closely with site personnel, clients, and subcontractors using strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Remain continuously present at the worksite to observe ongoing activities.
- Make sure Saipem and client HSE requirements are actively followed on site.
- Support emergency response efforts when needed.
- Take a practical, hands-on approach and stop any unsafe activity when required.
Candidate Profile
The position calls for a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, technical studies, or a closely related field. Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of experience in an HSE Officer or HSE Supervisor position, preferably with an oil and gas company or EPC contractor. Preference will be given to applicants with Aramco approval such as SAP# or approved HSE Officer status. The role also requires English and Arabic language ability, solid Microsoft Office skills, familiarity with the Aramco Construction Safety Manual (CSM), and NEBOSH or an equivalent qualification.
Location
This role is based at the Marjan Project in Tanajib, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
