The company delivers onshore and offshore project execution and works with ADNOC as a key client, along with Tier 1 and Tier 2 EPC contractors. Its capabilities include complete EPC&M services for electrical and instrumentation work, supported by strong local expertise in exploration, production, separation, refining, and distribution processes.
Role Overview
The HSE Officer will be responsible for strengthening health, safety, and environmental practices across project sites in Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and helping teams work safely in line with company standards and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply, oversee, and uphold HSE policies, procedures, and standards according to company rules and legal requirements.
- Perform routine site walks and audits to detect unsafe conditions and confirm safety practices are being followed.
- Review incidents, near misses, and accidents, then document findings and suggest corrective measures.
- Carry out risk evaluations, safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training for employees and contractors.
- Track environmental compliance matters such as waste handling, emissions control, and spill prevention.
- Keep complete HSE documentation, including inspection findings, incident records, and compliance files.
- Encourage a strong safety mindset through awareness initiatives and regular communication with site personnel.
- Coordinate with regulators during inspections and audits and ensure reports are submitted on time.
- Assist with emergency preparedness planning and take part in drills and practice exercises.
- Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to make safety part of everyday operations.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of HSE experience within the oil and gas industry is needed.
- Good working knowledge of OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001, and applicable local HSE rules is essential.
- NEBOSH certification and related credentials are mandatory.
- Hands-on experience in risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations is expected.
- Ability to use MS Office and HSE reporting systems effectively is required.

The role requires working across ADNOC project sites in Abu Dhabi, and the candidate must be willing to work in shifts and for extended hours when project needs demand it.
