About the Role
A European retail company seeks a knowledgeable HRIS Support Specialist to assist with their Workday implementation efforts. This position requires onsite presence in midtown Manhattan four days per week. As an integral part of the Human Resources Operations team, reporting to the Director of HR Technology, you will contribute significantly to shaping and supporting the HR systems strategy and roadmap for the North American region.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 2 HR systems and application support.
- Resolve user requests and technical issues, ensuring the accuracy and security of employee data across multiple platforms including Workday (HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking), SAP HR, Varicent, and Cornerstone.
- Administer Workday configurations related to HCM, Payroll, Security, and time tracking, including managing integrations with other systems.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education ranging from college or technical school to a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration, or a related discipline is expected.
- Two to five years of experience providing Level 2 support in HR technology environments.
- Proven expertise with Workday HCM is mandatory; familiarity with SAP HR modules and other related HR technologies such as payroll, timekeeping, benefits administration, and learning management systems is highly desirable or a strong ability to quickly learn new tools.
