Role overview

This part-time HR Specialist position is based in Abu Dhabi and offers a hybrid setup, allowing some work from home alongside on-site work. The role focuses on supporting the organization’s everyday people operations and helping maintain an efficient, compliant, and positive workplace.

What you will do

  • Handle routine HR activities and keep employee information accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with hiring activities, including recruitment support and onboarding coordination.
  • Help organize performance management and employee development efforts.
  • Review, update, and apply HR policies and internal procedures as needed.
  • Support employee benefits administration and respond to related questions.
  • Ensure HR practices align with applicable labor rules and compliance requirements.
  • Offer guidance to staff on HR-related concerns in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Contribute to a healthy workplace culture and work with leadership to align HR work with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Solid grounding in human resources and HR operations.
  • Understanding of HR policies and personnel administration for consistent, compliant handling of employee matters.
  • Experience managing employee benefits processes and addressing employee queries.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills for collaboration and relationship-building.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of UAE labour laws and regulations is an added advantage.
  • An academic background in human resources, business administration, or a related discipline, or comparable professional experience.
  • Prior exposure to networking, professional associations, or membership-based organizations is beneficial.
