About the Role
A real estate technology firm is seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist. This role requires a proactive HR professional adept at fostering trust with both management and staff through reliable and excellent service throughout the entire employee journey. The position is temporary and based onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Address employee relations issues with sound judgment, uniformity, and adherence to company policies and legal requirements. Conduct impartial investigations and maintain proper documentation. Collaborate with managers on disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
- Manager Coaching and Support: Act as a primary contact for managers regarding daily HR inquiries, including providing feedback, managing team dynamics, and addressing concerns about attendance, conduct, and performance. Empower managers to lead with greater confidence and consistency.
- Performance Management: Facilitate the complete performance management cycle, encompassing goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, and the development of performance improvement plans. Ensure managers are prepared to conduct clear and timely performance discussions with their teams.
- HR Operations: Oversee leave of absence procedures, accommodation requests, and return-to-work processes in conjunction with HR Operations. Maintain data integrity within Workday and ensure the timely completion of HR administrative tasks.
- Employee Experience: Serve as an approachable and available resource for employees. Identify emerging trends and concerns from daily interactions to contribute to broader HR strategy development.
- Compliance and Process Consistency: Apply HR policies uniformly and escalate unusual cases as needed. Stay informed about fundamental employment laws and report potential compliance risks to senior HR partners or the Employee Relations team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
