Overview
This onsite contract role in Jacksonville, Florida, as an HR Shared Services / HR Operations Analyst, focuses on benefits administration, retirement services, HRIS management (specifically ADP Workforce Now), and comprehensive employee support through Tier 1 HR assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile benefit and retirement plan data weekly and quarterly, including resolving discrepancies with vendors and maintaining thorough documentation.
- Prepare and administer census reports, comply with non-discrimination testing for 401(k), HSA, and FSA plans, and support the Department of Labor's Form 5500 filing and 401(k) audits.
- Serve as the primary Tier 1 HR contact, efficiently managing associate inquiries via the Deskpro case management system and collaborating with HR leadership to resolve escalated issues.
- Validate HR data, review and approve job descriptions according to Job Architecture standards, and ensure integrity of HRIS modules and related workflows.
- Work closely with IT and HRIS teams to conduct system testing, enhancements, troubleshooting, and maintain security controls for HR vendor access.
- Monitor workers’ compensation compliance through quarterly validation of new state requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed HR reports, dashboards, and analytics using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, including ad hoc reports requested by leadership and support teams.
- Generate periodic Rewards & Recognition and Associate Experience reports for organizational leadership.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience managing and analyzing data from various sources with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively handle HR inquiries and provide timely, accurate responses.
- Familiarity and proficiency with case management tools and HRIS systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now.
- Strong analytical capabilities using Excel and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of insurance and retirement plan operations supporting US-based benefits administration.
