About the Role
The HR Services Specialist occupies a pivotal position in tackling advanced HR questions and employee concerns that surpass the capacity of first-level HR Helpdesk support. This role demands comprehensive knowledge of HR policies spanning local, regional, and global scopes, combined with proficiency in HR systems, workflows, and the capability to collaborate with both external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution of escalated matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and resolve sophisticated HR inquiries and escalated employee cases across every stage of the employee lifecycle, guaranteeing timely and effective outcomes.
- Execute HR transactions within the Workday system and uphold precise employee records aligned with corporate policies and standards.
- Deliver specialized assistance for HR technologies, including troubleshooting, system upgrades, integrations, and user support.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and Tier 1 HR teams to resolve complex challenges and provide employee support solutions.
- Engage with external vendors, benefits providers, payroll partners, and regulatory bodies to address specialized HR issues and maintain high service quality.
- Ensure adherence to labor legislation and internal policies by acting as a subject expert and facilitating ongoing enhancement of HR processes and services.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of three years' experience in HR support, employee relations, HR operations, or related fields.
- Experience within a tiered shared service model is advantageous.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM, including administration, troubleshooting, and process assistance.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Legal, Compliance, and service providers.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; proficiency in additional local languages as relevant.
- Thorough understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, alongside advanced HRIS capabilities, analytical skills, and experience using data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude with an ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, maintain confidentiality, adapt readily, and collaborate across diverse groups.
