Role summary
The HR Reward Partner will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and daily running of reward, recognition, and benefits programmes. This role sits within a regulated financial services setting, so all reward activity must remain compliant, commercially competitive, and aligned with business strategy, FCA/PRA expectations, and internal governance requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Support the annual reward cycle, including salary reviews, bonus decisions, and promotions, while maintaining accurate records, applying policy consistently, and preserving audit readiness.
- Keep reward policies, job structures, pay frameworks, and benefits materials up to date so they reflect current regulatory and market expectations.
- Carry out job evaluations using Willis Towers Watson methodology and assist with market benchmarking to keep roles competitive within financial services.
- Administer employee benefits such as pension, healthcare, salary sacrifice options, and wellbeing schemes, including provider data management, monthly submissions, and updates for new starters and leavers.
- Make sure remuneration arrangements meet FCA and PRA rules, including requirements for Material Risk Takers, deferrals, malus, and clawback.
- Prepare reward reporting and dashboards covering gender pay gap analysis, pay benchmarking, bonus outcomes, and cost modelling, and support Finance with payroll reconciliation and budget planning.
- Advise managers and HR colleagues on pay policy, reward decisions, and compensation structures, and contribute to internal communications about reward and benefits.
- Look for ways to improve reward processes, tools, and systems, and support projects such as systems rollouts or job architecture reviews.
Requirements
- Background in reward or HR analytical work, preferably in financial services or another regulated environment.
- Good understanding of reward principles, pay structures, job evaluation, and benefits administration.
- Strong analytical capability, with solid Excel, data modelling, and reporting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information carefully and professionally.
- Experience with Cascade is preferred.
