Role Summary
We are in search of a HR & Recruiting Lead for the APAC region to establish and operate Inferact’s talent acquisition efforts in Singapore and surrounding areas. This role requires a proactive recruiter skilled in sourcing, evaluating, and securing outstanding technical talent amid competitive markets, with emphasis on engineering and AI infrastructure professionals, particularly within Singapore and Mandarin-speaking communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive recruitment processes from market analysis, proactive outreach, screening, candidate coordination, offer facilitation, to onboarding transition.
- Collaborate closely with company leadership, engineering teams, and external recruitment partners, serving as the local Singapore representative.
- Support practical HR operations including onboarding, benefits inquiries, employment pass facilitation, and office operational needs.
- Develop and maintain robust talent pipelines and networks instead of relying on passive candidate inflow.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or related experience in business, HR, psychology, communications, technology, or similar disciplines.
- At least 5 years' experience in talent acquisition, technical recruiting, or executive search.
- Proven track record of proactively sourcing and successfully closing challenging technical hires beyond inbound applicant pools.
- Experience recruiting technical roles within Singapore, China, or APAC tech markets.
- Fluent Mandarin and proficient English communication skills.
- Established or potential to cultivate strong relationships within Singapore's technology and AI sectors and major Chinese tech companies.
- Capability to lead recruitment lifecycles independently including stakeholder engagement and onboarding handoff.
Preferred Skills
- Background in recruiting for AI infrastructure, machine learning, distributed systems, cloud technologies, GPU computing, or related technical fields.
- Experience in building recruiting frameworks or regional talent programs from inception.
- Familiarity with sourcing techniques using LinkedIn, GitHub, research publications, technical networks, referrals, and event sourcing.
- Prior collaboration with startup founders, engineering leads, and recruiting agencies in rapid-growth environments.
- Knowledge of Singapore's employment norms, recruitment channels, onboarding, benefits management, and work pass logistics.
- Ability to understand and engage with technical candidates about vLLM and AI inference systems.

Logistical Details

- Expected salary: SGD 150,000 to 300,000 annually plus equity, dependent on candidate’s experience and skills.
