Working pattern and pay

This is a full-time, office-based role in Hereford, United Kingdom. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30. The salary is £36,000 to £38,000 depending on experience, plus benefits.

What the role involves

The position combines HR coordination, recruitment support, onboarding, and workplace administration. You will help ensure employee processes run smoothly, support compliance activity, and assist with facilities and operational tasks.

  • Run recruitment coordination from advertising vacancies through to interview scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Support onboarding for new hires, including contracts and employee lifecycle administration.
  • Keep HR records and systems accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate probation reviews and employee engagement activities.
  • Manage Health & Safety records, training logs, and compliance tracking.
  • Assist with workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Support facilities maintenance and manage supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate is confident in a busy, people-centred environment and brings strong coordination skills, discretion, and a proactive mindset. Experience in HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, or training support would be valuable. A CIPD qualification is welcome but not required.

  • Clear and trustworthy communicator who can work well with colleagues at different levels.
  • Adaptable, solution-oriented, and comfortable working proactively.
  • Able to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Exposure to recruitment, onboarding, or training coordination.
  • Understanding of UK employment practices; CIPD is desirable but not essential.
